“ This is always a must stop when we're passing through Bishop! The bakery along with their sandwiches are always amazing! They have so many different fresh baked goods like cookies, cream puffs, brownies, and bread. You really can't go wrong with any choice you make.. everything is delicious! They have plenty of parking around the restaurant, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Sitting outdoors is always nice when the weather calls for it! The service is quick and friendly, and they even have samples of various items around the store. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! ”
“ Carb lovers dream! Fresh bread baked daily! Love stopping here whenever I'm in town or passing through! Got the hot pastrami sandwich without mayo and sprouts added to it. It was delicious though it didn't have as much meat in it as i remember few years ago. Also the price for the sandwich has increased. Got a sticky bun and apple fritter to go as well as my favorite olive sourdough bread! The olive bread has a few different types of olives in it and I can't find anywhere else that makes it this way. Though the lines can get long, it moves quickly. ”
“ I've been to Erick Schat's Bakery two times this year and still enjoy going. Last visit was Sunday 10/6/24 my hiking friends like going for breakfast and getting other stuff. I tried the Original Sheepherder Bread $9 loaf. It taste like white bread to me. Won't get again. Energy Loaf $10.95 is good. A 1lb 8oz loaf with nuts & raisins & apricots, no added sugar label said. I tried the turkey pot pie $8.95 - tasted ok. Good when hungry was in the warming area. Friend likes their bread pudding. Another friend liked the Napoleon pastry and the fruit tarts. Root boost drink 2 friends liked. They take credit cards. Nice bathrooms separate men and women's the one bread room left corner. There is a room by the breads for day-old bread marked 50% off! Check there First!! They sell breads, pastries, gelato, sandwiches. It's Great! ”
